I stayed 3 nights at Now Larimar Punta Cana Resort. This all-inclusive resort was where one of my good friends was marrying the love of her life! I had the honor of being one of her bridesmaids  Now Larimar is a beautiful property and they definitely know how to throw a wedding. The decorations were beautiful for both the ceremony and the reception. #whenamanaslovesawoman

Snapchat Storytime! I was intoxicated most of the weekend, so my video and photo game were way off….sorry! Haha.

Accommodations

The room was really nice and the bathroom included a jacuzzi – did not get to use it though, sadly. I really liked the incense they gave us each day. It was a really nice touch!

The gym was excellent. There is a separate room for cardio machines, weights, and stretching/mats. It felt like there was no AC in the cardio room, but maybe because there were so many people in there sweating and breathing, lol. The weight room and yoga room were super cool and not overly crowded. I have no complaints

This is my friend, Jeremy, doing something cool in the distance because I instructed him to do so, lol.

Restaurants & Bars:

  • Carnival Buffet – Had dinner and breakfast here. Breakfast is really good…especially the bacon. Dinner was adequate, but I was looking for some real authentic Dominican food, which they did not have too much of.

  • Spice – Asian fusion restaurant within the resort. I had the hibachi grill and it was good – like any other hibachi grill out there.

  • Tamarindo – Latin restaurant which I highly recommend. Starters were good – shared the combo platter and everything was super tasty. I also ordered the chicken tortilla soup…which is really just tomato soup, so kind of disappointing there, but would have been good with a grilled cheese sandwich, lol. The flank steak was AMAZING . Order it medium rare. And lastly dessert – I tried all of them and the best was the tres leche.

  • Moments Lobby Bar – The wedding party and guests pretty much took this place over each night. It is open until 12am and is a lot of fun. Good drinks and atmosphere. Get that mamajuana!!

  • The Sand Bar – Swim up pool bar that was a lot of fun, however I was hungover all day to enjoy the drinks…but everyone else seemed to have a blast.

  • Eclipse Night Club – Dance club open until 2am at the resort. I was only there for like 10 minutes, but I enjoyed the music and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves!

As most all-inclusive resorts go, you typically do not leave the property unless you sign-up for some excursions. I did not do any excursions during my stay there, however some of my friends did the Scape Park excursion and really enjoyed it.

Overall, I had a great time here celebrating the marriage of my friends. I recommend a visit at this resort for sure.
